SURPRISE CUPCAKES 
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. salad oil
2 tsp. baking soda with 2 c. water
2 tbsp. vanilla

FILLING:

8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Sift dry ingredients. Add liquid ingredients. With cupcake liners in muffin pans, fill half full of batter. Top with teaspoon of filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. For Filling: Beat first 4 ingredients; add chocolate chips.
