COCONUT POUND CAKE 
1 (12 oz.) box vanilla wafers
2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
6 eggs
7 oz. coconut
1 c. pecans, optional

Cream butter and sugar. Then add eggs one at a time. Place vanilla wafers in plastic bag and crumble up. Add crumbs and milk. Fold in coconut and nuts. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or longer. Test with toothpick.
