1 c. butter or shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda in
1 tbsp. warm water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
About 4 c. flour

Roll cut dough cut with any season of cookie cutters, sprinkle with sugar bake at 350 degrees. You may also use a glass top to make round cookies.
