MERINGUE KISSES 
2 egg whites
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. broken nut meats

Beat egg whites until stiff. Add cream of tartar and salt. Add sugar gradually while beating. Add vanilla, chocolate chips and nut meats if desired. Drop by teaspoons onto brown paper placed on cookie tins. Bake about 20 minutes at 300 degrees.
