ORANGE RAISIN CAKE 
Grind together for fruit mixture:

1 c. raisins
1 whole orange (thin rinded) large size

Set aside while mixing cake

Mix together:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. flour
1 egg
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda
2/3 c. fruit mixture

Beat thoroughly and bake in 3 layer pans for 20 to 25 minutes in 375 degree oven. Add to remaining fruit mixture, 2 tablespoons butter, enough powdered sugar and orange juice to ice the cake.
