MODERN BREAD PUDDING 
2 (4 oz.) pkgs. Jello vanilla pudding (reg.)
4 tbsp. sugar
6 c. milk
1/2 c. raisins
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
16 slices dry white bread, cubed

TOPPING:

4 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Combine pudding and 2 tablespoons sugar; blend in milk. Add raisins. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil. Remove from heat. Stir in butter (oleo). Place bread cubes in greased pan. Pour mixture over cubes. Put on topping. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees in 9 x 13 inch pan.
