CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRIES 
1 egg white
2 tbsp. maraschino cherry juice
4 c. confectioners' sugar
27 whole maraschino cherries, well drained
1 (6 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate pieces
1/4 c. maraschino cherry juice
2 tbsp. shortening

Beat together egg white, 2 tablespoon maraschino cherry juice, and confectioners sugar. (Add a few drops of milk if too thick). Place a teaspoonful of this fondant on top of each cherry. To make glaze, melt milk chocolate pieces 1/4 cup maraschino cherry juice and shortening in small saucepan. Stir until smooth. Place 1/2 teaspoon glaze on each cherry. Cool.
