POTATO AND SAUSAGE CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. hot or mild sausage, cooked and cut into bite size pieces 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 c. chopped onions 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1/4 c. pimentos 4 c. potatoes, sliced thin 1 tsp. butter 1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese Combine mushroom soup, milk, onions, green pepper, pimentos, and 1/2 teaspoon salt and 2 teaspoons black pepper. Place 1/2 potatoes in greased casserole dish, add 1/2 of sausage and cover with 1/2 of soup mixture. Repeat layers and dot with butter. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake covered 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer. |
