SAUSAGE AND APPLE DINNER 
1 lb. round 1 inch sausage
8 med. apples
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. cooking oil

Cook sausage in small amount of water in large skillet. Turn on medium high for 15 minutes or until it is cooking, then simmer for at least 20 minutes to 25 minutes covered. Wash and pare apples into eights, cook in about 1/4 cup cooking oil in skillet on medium heat for about 30 minutes or until done, stirring often to keep apples from sticking. Add sugar about 1/2 way through cooking. Serve with mashed potatoes and creamed corn.
