PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH POTPIE 
1 med. chicken, cut up or 2 lbs. ham
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 potatoes, diced into sm. pieces
1 tsp. parsley

Stew chicken or ham in a large pot until tender, add seasoning and potatoes. Drop potpie squares and boil slowly for about 30 minutes.

POTPIE SQUARES:

1 egg, beaten
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk, enough to moisten dough

Cut butter into combined dry ingredients. Stir in lightly beaten egg and milk. On floured board roll as thinly as possible. Cut in 2 inch squares. Serves 6.
