SEVEN LAYER SALAD 
1/2 head lettuce, shredded
1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 sm. can English peas, drained
1 c. real mayonnaise
2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
6 pieces of bacon, fried and crumbled

Layer the lettuce, bell pepper, celery, onion and English peas. Spread on mayonnaise and sprinkle sugar over the mayonnaise. Add a layer of the Cheddar cheese and top with the bacon. Cover well and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving. Should use large flat bowl or dish.
