SALTED PEANUT COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. corn flakes
2 c. quick oatmeal
1 1/2 c. Spanish peanuts
1 tsp. baking soda (dissolved in a little water)
2 tsp. cream of tartar

Mix together. Drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake 350 degrees, 8-12 minutes.
