GLAZED PEACH CREME | |
2 pkgs. (3 oz.) Jello, peach flavor 2 c. boiling water 3/4 c. cold water 1 pt. (2 c.) vanilla ice cream 1 can (8 3/4 oz.) sliced peaches or 1 fresh peach, peeled & sliced 1. Dissolve 1 package gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Add cold water. Chill until slightly thickened. (Gelatin will have the consistency of unbeaten egg whites.) 2. Dissolve second package gelatin in remaining boiling water. Add ice cream and stir until melted and smooth. Pour into serving bowl. Chill about 1 hour or until set but not firm. 3. Arrange canned or fresh peach slices on gelatin/ice cream mixture. 4. Top with clear gelatin. Garnish with prepared Dream Whip topping. Makes 5 cups or 10 servings. |
