BARBECUE PORK CHOPS 
4 pork chops (thick, center-cut) (1 1/2 lbs.)
1 med. onion, minced
1 clove garlic, minced or pressed
2 to 3 tsp. curry powder
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

In small skillet, cook onion, garlic and curry powder in non-stick pan for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in lemon juice, corn syrup, salt and pepper.

Arrange chops in deep bowl. Cover with marinade. Let stand, turning occasionally, for 2 to 3 hours until done.

When ready to grill, remove chops, reserving marinade. Grill 4 inches from source of heat, turning occasionally and basting with marinade.
