LAYERED SALAD 
1 head lettuce
3 to 4 stalks celery
1 green pepper
1 sm. onion
1 to 1 1/2 c. cubed chicken (optional)
10 oz. frozen peas
1 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing
8 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
Bacon bits

Cut up each of the first 6 items in bite size pieces. Layer in order in large bowl. Cover last layer with salad dressing. Shred cheese and spread cheese and bacon bits over top. Refrigerate 6 hours.

Including chicken chunks will change this side dish to a main dish.
