BUTTER BALL COOKIES 
1 c. butter
4 tbsp. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour, sifted
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter; add sugar and continue to beat until light. Add vanilla. Add flour and mix well; fold in chopped nuts. Shape into small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 15-18 minutes until light brown. When slightly cooled roll in powdered sugar. Makes 3 dozen.
