MACADAMIA NUT SUNDAES | |
4 tbsp. butter 1 c. salted macadamia nuts, cut up sm. 1 c. heavy cream 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar Ice cream, choice of flavor Melt butter in a saucepan. Mix in the chopped nuts and heat, stirring occasionally. Stir in the cream and brown sugar. Bring just to a boil and simmer until blended, stirring constantly. Let cool slightly before serving. Sauce may be refrigerated and heated in microwave before serving over scoops of ice cream. Delicious served over praline pecan, coffee, or vanilla ice cream. (Cooper) |
