BOILED MEAT WITH HORSERADISH
SAUCE
 
2 lbs. brisket
1 c. onions, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
3 tbsp. horseradish
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. thyme
Other herbs to suit taste

Boil the meat slowly in enough water to cover; include the above seasonings. Save the water in which the meat is cooked. Use it to cook the spaghetti or rice.

SAUCE FOR MEAT:

Mayonnaise or sour cream
Catsup
Horseradish
Yellow mustard
Garlic puree

Use in amounts to suit taste; make enough for meat to be generously covered. Good with either hot or cold meat.
