PUFFED WHEAT COOKIES 
2 tbsp. butter
2 c. puffed wheat (cereal)
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt 2 tablespoons butter, add puffed wheat. Cream together 1/2 cup butter and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla.

Mix flour, baking powder and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture and blend well. Fold into puffed wheat. Drop by teaspoonful on greased sheet 2 inches apart. Bake 10-15 minutes. Cool and carefully remove from sheet as these are fragile.
