BANANA BARS 
2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 pt. sour cream
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
3 1/2 mashed bananas
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Cream sugar, butter, eggs, and sour cream. Add bananas and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and add to batter. Put in greased and floured jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Frost.

FROSTING:

1 c. firmly packed brown sugar (powdered sugar)
1/4 c. evaporated milk
5 tsp. soft butter
1/2 tbsp. vanilla or burnt sugar flavoring

Bring brown sugar and butter to a boil. Add milk and bring to a boil again. Cool. Add enough powdered sugar for desired consistency to spread. Add flavoring. Spread on cake and cut into bars.
