DIFFERENT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
3/4 c. shortening
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg, beaten
2 c. sugar
5 c. flour
Milk, about 2 c.
2 (6 oz.) pkgs. chocolate chips
2 tbsp. cocoa or to taste

Cream shortening, vanilla and soda; add egg and beat well. Add sugar gradually. Mix in flour and milk alternately. Stir in chocolate chips.

Divide dough and add cocoa to one part. Bake 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. This is a good cookie, both white and chocolate.
