TEXAS STYLE CORNISH 
4 cornish hens

SEASONING:

1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. chili powder

SAUCE:

1/2 c. apple jelly
1/2 c. catsup
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. chili powder

Rub cornish inside and out with seasonings and place on grill. Cook 1 hour, or until tender, basting frequently during last 1/2 hour with sauce. Serve with Spanish rice, cheese tomatoes, and garlic toast.
