1/2 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg, separated
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. walnuts, crushed

Cream butter and sugar, add egg yolk. Sift flour and measure and re-sift with cinnamon. Mix with creamed mixture blending thoroughly. Spread in 11"x17" cookie sheet pan. Beat egg white until stiff, spread over the dough and sprinkle with nuts. Bake in 300 degree oven for 30 minutes. Cut before cooling.
