CHEESE AND APPLE BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. peeled, shredded apples
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Combine butter, eggs, dry ingredients in large mixing bowl. Blend well. Stir in apples and cheese. Turn into well greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 to 60 minutes until center of loaf tests done. Cool thoroughly.
