APPLE CUSTARD KUCHEN 
CRUST:

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg yolk
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
enough milk to moisten

Cream butter, sugar, salt and egg yolk together well. Then add flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Moisten like pie crust using milk. Pat into 10x12-inch pan.

FRUIT FILLING:

about 4 large apples, peeled and sliced

Line crust with sliced apples.

CUSTARD:

2 eggs
1 egg white
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 cup milk
1 tbsp. vanilla

Beat together eggs, egg white, sugar, salt, milk and vanilla. Pour over apples.

Bake at 375°F for 40 to 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
