NO NOODLE LASAGNA 
1 lb. ground beef (or mixture beef & turkey)
1 can tomato sauce
1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
1 (12 oz.) carton diet cottage cheese
1 egg
1 1/2 lbs. zucchini, cut lengthwise
2 tbsp. flour
1 (4 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella
1/4 c. grated Romano or Parmesan (extra 1/4 c. grated Parmesan for top)

Brown meat in skillet. Drain off fat. Stir in tomato sauce and spices. Heat to boiling. Simmer, uncovered 10 minutes. Mix cottage cheese, Romano or Parmesan and eggs. Layer half each zucchini, flour, cottage cheese mixture, meat mixture and Mozzarella. Repeat in long pan. Sprinkle with extra 1/4 cup grated Parmesan on top. Bake, uncovered 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Let stand 20 minutes before serving. Cut in squares. (To save more calories, omit the meat.)
