THE BEST SUCCOTASH! 
2 cups lima beans (fresh or frozen)
2 oz. salt pork, for flavor (Hormel)
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
dash of freshly ground pepper
2 cups whole kernel corn (fresh or frozen)
1/3 cup light cream
1 tbsp. all-purpose flour

In a saucepan combine beans, salt pork, water, salt, sugar and pepper. Cover; simmer until beans are almost tender. Stir in corn. Cover and simmer until vegetables are tender. Remove salt pork.

Blend cream slowly into flour. Stir into vegetables. Cook and stir until thickened.
