HARVEST CASSEROLE 
1 bunch broccoli
1 head cauliflower
1 lb. brussels sprouts
2 c. carrots
1/2 c. butter
1 c. fresh bread crumbs
1/2 c. sliced onions
1/3 c. flour
2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Cook all vegetables together in boiling water for 10 minutes. In a large skillet melt 2 tablespoons butter, add bread crumbs, stirring for 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Set aside.

In medium saucepan melt 1/2 cup butter, add onions. Cook until soft, add flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add milk and seasoning, cook until thickened. Drain vegetables. Layer in a baking dish. Pour sauce over bread crumbs. Add another layer of vegetables, top with sauce, bread crumbs. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
