PASTA SALAD 
5 qts. water
1 1/2 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 lb. pasta (ziti, med. shells or rotelle)
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. sour cream
1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 or 2 tbsp. brown bouillon powder
1 red onion, peeled & 1/4" dice
2 lg. ripe tomatoes, seeded & diced
6 sweet pickles, diced
2 lg. green peppers, seeded & diced
2 lg. shallots, peeled & minced
Salt & pepper to taste
Dash red wine vinegar
1 tbsp. sweet pickle juice

Boil water in a large pot, add salt and olive oil. Add pasta. Boil until tender but firm to bite. Drain and rinse in cold water. Place in large bowl and moisten with milk. In small bowl blend sour cream, mayonnaise and bouillon powder. Pour sauce over pasta. Add onion, tomato, pickle, pepper, shallot, salt and pepper, vinegar and pickle juice. Mix gently.
