INDIAN PUDDING 
4 c. milk
1/2 c. cornmeal
2 tbsp. melted butter
2 eggs
1/2 c. molasses
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ginger

Scald milk; pour on meal; cook over hot water 20 minutes. Add butter, molasses, salt, ginger and cinnamon. Beat eggs; add. Pour into greased casserole; set in pan of hot water. Bake in moderate oven 1 hour. Serve warm with whipped cream. Serves 6.
