12 HOUR GREEN SALAD 
1 head lettuce
1 med. green pepper
1 can peas
Enough onion to cover top of peas
1 tsp. sugar and salt
1 pt. real mayonnaise
1 bottle bacon bits
1 can Parmesan cheese

Spread lettuce in bottom of dish. Cover with green pepper, chopped. Spread peas on top of peppers, then add sliced onions. Sprinkle salt and sugar over onions. Place mayonnaise on top and spread evenly. Sprinkle heavily with Parmesan cheese. Chill overnight. Put bacon bits on top before serving.
