HOT MULLED CIDER 
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. whole allspice
1 tsp. whole cloves
2 qts. apple cider
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash ground nutmeg
3" stick cinnamon
Orange wedges

Combine all ingredients, except orange wedges, in a large saucepan. Slowly bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Remove spices. Serve in warmed mugs with clove studded orange wedges. Serves 8.
