APPLESAUCE BUTTER 
Makes about 6 cups.

1 qt. applesauce
1 3/4 oz. pkg. powdered fruit pectin
1 tbsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 1/2 c. sugar

In a 3 quart casserole, stir together applesauce, pectin, pumpkin pie spices and cinnamon. Cover. Microwave at high eight to 10 minutes. Stir after five minutes and every minute thereafter until mixture boils. Add sugar to hot mixture. Stir well. Cover. Microwave at high nine to 11 minutes, stirring every five minutes until mixture reaches a full boil. Then time for one minute of boiling. Stir well. Pour into sterilized jars. Seal and store in the refrigerator or freezer.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
