SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
1 lg. can whole tomatoes (28 oz.) (red pack, Hunts, Contadina)
1 onion, peeled and quartered
4 to 5 cloves garlic
1 tsp. sugar

Puree above in blender. Add to following and simmer, uncovered 1 hour. 2 tbsp. basil 2 bay leaves 3 tbsp. grated Parmesan 1/4 c. to 1/2 c. red wine 1 sm. can tomato sauce (8 oz.) (Hunts, DelMonte, Contadina) 1 sm. can Arturos gourmet sauce 1 lb. ground beef, browned 2 to 3 mild Italian sausage links, browned, removed from case

Mix well.
