MAN CAMP CABBAGE 
We bake fresh cornbread as a companion.

6 German sausages, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 large potatoes, cubed
1 head cabbage, divided
1 large onion, chopped
Mrs. Dash seasoning
1 (15 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
1/2 lb. (8 slices) bacon
1 1/2 pints whipping cream

In a large roaster or Dutch oven place cubed potatoes and 2-inch long pieces of sausage. Chop or slice cabbage head, and add 1/3 of head. Add sliced onion on top of cabbage, and add another 1/3 of the cabbage.

Liberally season (we prefer Mrs. Dash). Drain and add can of corn. Add final 1/3 of cabbage, and cover with bacon. Pour whipping cream over bacon until it almost comes to the top.

Cook over coals outdoors, or in the oven at 350°F for 2 hours.

8 hungry men will be happy!
