CHEESY POTATO CASSEROLE 
1 lg. bag hash browns
1 med. onion, chopped
1 pt. half & half
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
1 1/2 c. cottage cheese

Put hash browns in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Add onion, spoon cottage cheese over top of potatoes. heat half & half, butter and cheese until melted. Pour over potatoes and let stand for 1 hour. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
