PUMPKIN BREAD 
3 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 cup oil
2 cups canned pumpkin
3 1/3 cups flour
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice or pumpkin pie spice
2 tsp. baking soda
2/3 cup water
1 cup nuts, chopped

Cream sugar, eggs and oil; add pumpkin. Add dry ingredients alternately with water; add nuts. Bake in greased, floured 1-pound coffee cans or loaf pans. Fill 2/3 full. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350°F.

Makes 3 (1-pound cans) full.
