CRANBERRY COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. milk
1 egg
2 tbsp. orange juice
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts, chopped
2 1/2 c. chopped cranberries

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in milk, orange juice and egg. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; add creamed mixture and beat until smooth. Stir in nuts and cranberries. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Keeps a long time.

For bar cookies, spread into a greased 15x10x1 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
