MERINGUE COOKIES | |
3 egg whites 1/8 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar 1/3 c. granulated sugar Beat egg whites until foamy. Beat in salt and cream of tartar. Gradually add sugar and beat until stiff. Cover ungreased baking with paper (brown mailing paper or grocery bag, cut to fit). Drop meringue by teaspoon onto paper. Bake at 200 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. |
