2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
2 sticks butter, melted
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. applesauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. raisins (optional)
1 c. pecans

Mix all ingredients well and bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.

SAUCE:

1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. cream

Cook until all ingredients have blended well. Serve with Applesauce Cake.
