SAUTEED BROWN RICE AND MUSHROOMS | |
1 med. onion, minced 1/4 c. minced green pepper 1/2 lb. mushrooms, coarsely chopped 1/4 c. butter 3 c. cooked brown rice 3/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. chili powder Saute onion, green pepper and mushrooms in the butter in skillet 5 minutes, or until mushrooms are cooked and any liquid is evaporated. Add remaining ingredients and cook, stirring gently, until lightly browned. Makes 4 servings. |
