LEMON COOKIES 
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix well, press into oblong pan (10 x 13 inch greased). Bake 20 minutes at 325 degrees. While this bakes, beat 4 eggs lightly, 2 cups sugar, 4 tablespoons lemon juice and grated rind of 1/2 lemon.

Mix together and pour over cookies. Put back in oven and bake 25 minutes at 325 degrees. When slightly cool, cut in squares.
