SAUERKRAUT BALLS 
1 onion, minced
1/4 c. butter
1 1/3 c. ground ham
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. ham broth
1 (14 oz.) can sauerkraut, drained & ground
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. milk
Bread crumbs or corn flake crumbs

Cook onions in butter until soft. Thoroughly stir in ham and 1/4 cup flour, add broth and sauerkraut, cook, stirring constantly for 5 minutes. Cool.

Using 1 teaspoon of mixture form into small balls, roll in remaining flour. Dip in combined egg and milk. Roll in crumbs. Fry in deep fat until lightly brown.
