APPLE CUSTARD PIE 
Make pie shell for a 1 crust pie and line pie pan.

4 to 6 apples, peeled and sliced

CRUMB MIXTURE:

1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. butter

Mix until crumbly.

Put half of mixture on bottom of pie shell, then add apples. Cover apples with rest of crumb mixture.

ix:

1 c. milk
1 lg. egg

Pour over pie. Sprinkle with vanilla.

Bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees then 350 degrees 1 hour.
