SPARKLING GINGER SNAPS | |
1 c. sugar 3/4 c. butter 1 egg 1/4 c. molasses 2 1/2 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. ginger 1/2 tsp. allspice Beat together sugar, butter, shortening, egg and molasses. Add sifted dry ingredients all at once. Mix well. Use 1 teaspoon dough for each cookie. Roll into a ball and drop in a plate of sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes, or until top cracks. |
