CHOCOLATE SYRUP BARS | |
1 c. sugar 1 stick butter 4 eggs (add one at a time) 1 (16 oz.) can Hershey's syrup 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt Nuts Bake in a greased 10 x 15 inch pan at 375 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. FROSTING: 2 c. powdered sugar 2 tbsp. milk 1/2 c. butter or 1 stick butter 2 tbsp. milk 1 tsp. peppermint extract Green food coloring TOPPING: Melt together 1 cup chocolate chips, 6 tablespoons butter. Frost cooled bars with green mint frosting and cool. Then prepare chocolate chip topping and spread carefully over green frosting. Cool again and then cut into 1 1/2 inch squares - use care in cutting so as not break the chocolate topping. |
