CARAMEL ICING 
1 tbsp. white corn syrup
1 1/3 c. brown sugar, tightly packed
1/3 c. milk
1/4 c. butter, melted
2 tbsp. hot milk
1 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar

Boil together first three ingredients until soft ball forms in cold water. Add remaining three ingredients and beat until spreading consistency.
