FILLED COOKIES 
2 c. raisins
3/4 c. water
3/4 c. sugar

Boil above until thick. Mix the following dough of:

1 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. cinnamon

Mix dough well, then drop by teaspoon and 1/2 teaspoon of cooked filling on top then drop another teaspoon of dough on top of this. Repeat this for each cookie. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 to 15 minutes.
