BLACK CHERRY SALAD 
1 (6 oz.) pkg. black cherry Jello
1 c. boiling water
1 (15 oz.) can black cherries, pitted
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1/2 c. chopped nuts

TOPPING (optional) :
1 (8 oz.) softened cream cheese
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Dissolve Jello in boiling water; add fruit and nuts and refrigerate until firm.

Topping: Mix all and beat until blended. Spread on set Jello.
