COOKED HOME MADE ICE CREAM 
1 gal. milk
8 eggs
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 heaping tbsp. flour
A little salt

Heat milk to scalding point. Beat eggs, sugar, flour and salt. Add a little hot milk to the eggs then pour in more and stir then pour the rest in and stir.

Let cool then add one pint of half and half and some vanilla, 1 tsp.

Pour mixture in ice cream cylinder 3/4 full. Put in ice cream freezer and crank or plug in. Make sure you follow directions on ice cream freezer about how to freeze ice cream. Makes 1 1/2 gallons.
